Minor Changes @ Rolling The Ball~ : After The Jump

In an effort to save my readers time (yes, all tens of you!) I have decided not to clog up the main page with video's, rather I will feature them (in blogger terms) "after the jump".  This means that at the bottom of the post there will be a link that says "read more" so, in order to see the video related to the post you will need to click this link.  This way the main page will (in theory) load quicker for you.  I hope this helps!

And...the return of Boy George...?

Well, apparently this slipped out there into cyberspace in late Jan. without catching my attention til now.  Official release however is slated for March 22nd.

A BRAND NEW track from none other than the once and future queen & former Culture Club frontranny frontman Boy George!  Fresh (ok, it's been nearly a year) from the assault and false imprisonment of a male escort which landed the Boy in the clink for 4 months, George is finally back with a new single.  Titled "Amazing Grace" this is one of the few solo works to get released in the 2000's aside from some very limited edition singles under various pseudonyms such as "The Twin"

I'm loving the visuals, if not the song, and think George looks great as a floating head ala Jambi!

One does wonder though if part of his deal w/ the male escort he roughed up was to include the guy in his next video....hmmmmm???

A new DISCOvery!

I was trolling through the first few posts made to a favorite blog of mine (joe.my.god) and saw this song mentioned.  Although I didn't recognize the artists name, the song title sounded familiar....and sure enough I was right!  Erasure covered this about 20 years ago as a B side to "You Surround Me" off their 1989 album, "Wild!"

I think I am way grooving on the original, it's awesome!
