Quote of the Day

This was once posted as my Facebook status and I'm fully expecting it to be as ignored here...which just further proves the quote itself.  People just don't understand & sadly just don't care to.  This will be my last post of the day if not of the blog as a whole.  Thanks to the 2 or 3 people who actually ever read it....

“One who shows signs of mental aberration is, inevitably, perhaps, but cruelly, shut off from familiar, thoughtful intercourse, partly excommunicated; his isolation is unwittingly proclaimed to him on every countenance by curiosity, indifference, aversion, or pity, and in so far as he is human enough to need free and equal communication and feel the lack of it, he suffers pain and loss of a kind and degree which others can only faintly imagine, and for the most part ignore.” Charles Horton Cooley

  2. well, "anonymous"...I guess I'm not sure what you mean by "out there"....? The only forum for promoting my blog, at present, has been Facebook on which I have been posting several updates a day which have if not failed to attract any readers, has certainly not done much to solicit comments, "likes" or anything in the way of tangible proof that anyone is paying attention or taking time to read or even cares what I am doing....and without that how am I to feel but ignored? I must have SOME kind of feedback in order to know it's not all for naught. Thanks for rediscovering/reading & commenting....at least it's something.
